Fairtrade fortnight

Insomnia cafe, which is inside Debenhams, has taken part in Fairtrade Fortnight which ran from February 26 to March 11 when 5p was donated from every hot beverage sold to Insomnia’s Fairtrade project of the ASOBAGRI Coffee Cooperative, in Guatemala.

The goal is to help: Empowering women within the coffee industry in Latin America.

ASOBAGRI has 278 indigenous women members involved in the production of Fairtrade coffee. This project involves the development of a coffee retail outlet and aims to promote the participation of women in the cooperative activities.
