Willdlife Trust plans four more visits
Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, which recently held a successful ‘Nuts About Nature’ event to educate children about different aspects of nature and wildlife, plans four return visits to Elliott's Field later in the year.
The Trust is a leading local charity working for wildlife and local communities across Warwickshire, protecting wildlife and wild places and to educate, influence and inspire people about nature conservation.
Planned dates for the Trust to come back to Elliott's Field to promote their work and encourage children and adults to take an acitive interest in the world around them are Sunday, May 20, July 1, August 5 and October 7.
Staff and members work hard to secure a future for many important habitats and species, which might otherwise be lost and In the past few years, the Trust has secured a future for the county’s water vole and otter population
They have maintained and enhanced some of the last remaining ancient woodland habitats left in Warwickshire and given advice to local landowners on how to manage their land for wildlife.
The Trust has campaigned successfully for wildlife friendly development and inspired thousands of school children through natural play.
